Loughborough Comets challenge Juniors

Writer's picture: Phil ArissPhil Ariss

The U14's and U16's faced Loughborough Comets in a friendly game this weekend in what was a first ever competitive game for many players on from both Loughborough and Melton.

The U14's got the games off first, and looked to be controlling the game for the first half, however Loughborough came back strong in the second half and just edged out Kings. Coaches Hodgkinson and Haffenden will be pleased with the way the players have developed, with some excellent free flowing basketball.

The U16's followed suit, and controlled the game from start to finish with some excellent basketball, controlling the rebounds and running the floor well. In the end it turned out to be a comfortable win for Kings, with Harvey Tilson and Jack Neath combining for 38 points of the teams total 58.
